After our initial assessment and walkthrough, a comprehensive inspection into the HVAC system components is conducted. We will examine the air handling units, air ducts, return and supply plenums, air vents and grilles, as well as other cavities of the vessel like headliners, wall panels and cabinets.
When the inspection shows signs of air contamination or mold growth has already been visually detected, we strongly recommend a sample testing procedure which will help us to confirm or rule out the visual findings and to document the extent of the hazard.
The collected samples are sent to an accredited independent laboratory who analyzes the results for toxic mold spores, allergens, bacteria, toxic gases, viral agents, and other airborne contaminants. When the results come back to us, generally after 24 to 48 hours, we provide a comprehensive and confidential report that details the findings of the inspection, bacterial count and levels of contamination within the different areas of the vessel.
