Marine Mold Cleanup & Remediation

It is very important to understand that all yachts and boats regardless of their age, size or built provide perfect conditions for mold growth due to high exposure to humidity, moisture and wide temperature differentials combined with an entangled ventilation system configuration and a complex construction.

Our team of marine-expert-certified mold remediation specialists (MRSR) and ventilation system mold remediators (VSMR) will help with any small or large project no matter the size or shape of the vessel.

Yacht Air Purification & Odor Removal

Nasty odors in yachts and boats and other types of marine vessels come as a result of many different problems. Most common odor sources in yachts or boats are the presence of hidden mold and mildew, sanitation hose leaks, bilge, tank, diesel leaks and engine room problems. Fortunately, all these type of issues can be permanently solved. Our products leverage a breakthrough ionization technology that quickly eliminates odors in the air when they get in contact with active oxygen molecules (cleansing ions).

Marine HVAC Cleaning

The heart of any marine ventilation system is the air handler, or air handling unit. A filthy air handler promotes rapid bacterial contamination and mold spores widespread. The hygiene of the air handling unit is a key factor while addressing any kind of indoor air quality issue onboard. Our experienced technicians along with the latest technology on ventilation systems hygiene will clean, sanitize and restore the Air Handlers and Fan Coil Units to their factory condition.

Galley Hood and Exhaust Cleaning

Regardless of the size or design of the galley, grease, moisture and smoke building up over time are definitely a fire hazard in any size yacht. These cooking effluents are drawn up through the galley hood, the filters and into the ductwork. If not properly cleaned and sanitized the galley hood poses a serious safety risk. Our team of marine-expert-certified mold remediation specialists and ventilation system mold remediators will help with any project no matter the size or shape of the vessel.

Marine Air Duct Cleaning

Air ducts in a poor and dirty condition onboard marine vessels provide an ideal breeding ground for mold, bacteria and musty odors and can cause great exposure to indoor air pollutants. Our process involves the cleaning and sanitization of the supply and return air ducts (end-to-end) as an essential part of our protocol of services and it also includes all the other parts associated with the distribution of airflow throughout the vessel. It is extremely important to realize that air duct cleaning alone is not going to be effective. Failure to perform a comprehensive sanitation of all the other components of the vessel’s HVAC can result in re-contamination of the entire system.

Dryer Vent and Duct Cleaning

Yachts need to have their dryer vent and dryer exhaust ducts inspected regularly as a method of prevention to minimize the risk of fire on board. Every time we use the dryer, small amounts of lint escape the filter and build up in the vent and duct. If the duct is blocked with lint, the trapped lint begins baking and then ignites. We provide dryer vent and dryer exhaust duct cleaning services for all brands of standard, commercial or industrial dryers that can be found in a yacht or boat. Our technicians are fully trained to completely inspect and diagnostic any efficiency and safety issues related to the dryer vent and exhaust duct.

Air Handler & Fan Coil Cleaning

Our minimal-disassembling CIP (clean-in-place) system allows us to safely clean and sanitize the entire exterior casing as well as the inner-sides of any type of marine air handler and/or fan coil unit including the system coils, fan/blower motor, internal chambers, fan belt and bearings, evaporators, drain pans and air filter housing tracks. Moldy insulation and electrical lines will be also sanitized. Lastly, custom-sized marine grade filters will be replaced in all units.
